Join me for this online Full Body Pilates class, to tone every inch of the body, challenge your core, mobilize the spine and correct your posture.
who is this class for
This class is for everybody but because it focuses a lot on areas like glutes, hips, inner thighs and it is gentle on the pelvic floor, it is particularly indicated for women, from postnatal to mid-life.
What you need for your first class
For your first class, all you need is a mat and hand towel. If this is your first class with me, you need to fill in a Par-Q form.
For the following Pilates classes
I strongly advise getting a 7-9in Pilates min-ball, a long elastic band, and a couple of 1kg ankle weights. This way we can tone the whole body in a way that challenges you, but also protects your lower back.
The Pilates mini-ball is great at challenging your deepest lower abdominals, protecting your lower back, and mobilizing the spine.

Why Pilates is so good for women in their 40s
Pilates is good for everybody, but particularly for women in their forties or over when the stress hormone cortisol starts to ramp up and disrupt your hormonal balance. Pelvic floor issues are also common at this stage, and if modified Pilates is a great form of exercise to strengthen the core and the pelvic floor. Read more in this blog post.
