Creating good habits is the secret to optimizing your health and life, but in our fast-paced world, many people struggle to do that.
Break down your wellbeing plan in micro habits
An easy way to do that is to start is to understand what outcome you want to achieve and break down the plan to achieve that into small actions or micro-habits.
The real skill though is in understanding what small actions or micro-habits will have the biggest ROI for your well-being investment because that is what will feed your motivation and adherence to your new chosen path.
What is the ROI of your well-being investment?
Working with a health coach even for a few sessions can help you understand that, and make the best choices for yourself.
So re-sharing from my Linkedin newsletter, here is a list of 5 simple but highly effective micro-habits that will help you boost your energy, regulate your sleep, and improve your metabolic health.
1. Set your circadian rhythms.
Setting your circadian rhythms will help increase your levels of energy during the day and help you sleep well at night. You can do that by exposing yourself to daylight/sunlight for at least 10 min early in the morning. Click here for more info on how to reset your circadian rhythms.

5. Dim the lights in the evening.
This will signal your brain that is time to sleep and will help you have a more restorative sleep. Circadian rhythms are mainly regulated by alternating light and darkness in a 24-hour cycle. Together with viewing sunlight early in the morning, dimming light at night can help signal the brain when its time to sleep and be awake, and release a cascade of hormones that regulate energy metabolism.
