What is Intuitive Eating
Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach to food and healthy eating that aims at breaking down the cycle of dieting and reconnecting you with your body cues and hunger and fullness signals.
Intuitive eating is based on ten principles originally developed by two American nutritionists Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch.
It focuses on body positivity, food neutrality, and a true mind-body approach to eating habits that is the antithesis of diet culture and the food obsession of modern-day life.
Praised by many health organizations like the British Heart Foundation it is a non-diet approach that can be helpful for many people stuck in an eternal cycle of yo-yo dieting and emotional eating.
